Dr. Hamza Farooq, D.D.S.
Dr. Hamza Farooq attended the prestigious Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery with honours. From creating beautiful smiles to helping people taking charge of their oral health, Dr. Farooq finds practicing dentistry a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. During his time at the University of Toronto, he was an active member of various committees and mentorship programs which included the Dental Student Society’s outreach committee, Summer Mentorship Program for students of indigenous and African descent and the charity for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. During his 3rd year of dental school he was accepted into the highly competitive summer emergency program at the University of Toronto where effective and timely dental care was provided at an affordable price to the community.
When Dr. Farooq is not in the office, he likes to travel, spend quality time with his family and friends, work out at the gym and go for runs.
Dr. Rupinder Dhaliwal
Dr. Rupinder Dhaliwal graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction, majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Physics and Psychology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. During his studies, he was accepted into several externships, including: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas and the New Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, New York, as well as Endodontics (root canal treatment) and Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Moreover, he spent a summer providing dental services in Moose Factory Cree Native reserve at the Weeneebayko General Hospital.Dr. Dhaliwal strongly believes in patient education, prevention and being as thorough as possible. Don’t be surprised if you find him taking pictures of your teeth with his iPhone during a check up or treatment. It’s his goal to make sure that patients understand what is going on. He is well aware that being in a dental chair is not on anybody’s fun-list and makes it his priority to be as gentle as possible.Despite being a dentist, Dr. Dhaliwal has got quite the sweet tooth and can often be found indulging in a cookie, donut or timbit during lunch. When not at work, you can find him at his father’s veterinary practice or eating out at a local restaurant. He is a TV junkie and often gets side-tracked when talking about Game of Thrones.
